Q: Do you ship pies, jams, or other goods?
A:Unfortunately our pies and products are only for sale at our store Late June until Thanksgiving
Q: Why do you close in winter and spring?
A: Everything we sell is locally grown. This means a short season here in upstate NY. We use the winter to repair equipment and the spring to plant, manage orchards, and get ready for the busy summer and fall.
Q: Do you have pick-your-own?
A: We are planning a large pick your own field for blueberries, currants, and gooseberries. Check in soon for updates on ripening times.
Q: Are you organic?
A: We are not certified organic but many of our products are no-spray. Feel free to ask us and we will steer you toward no- or low-spray items. Our philosophy is that if we can raise a marketable crop without spraying an item, we will.
Q: I drove by and you were closed. What's up?
A: We are only open from Late June to Thanksgiving. We also are closed on Tuesdays and Wednesdays.
Q: I called to make an order and your staff said you can't put a pie aside for me?!
A: We only accept orders with 24 hours or more notice. Each morning orders are filled first and the rest of of the day's oven capacity is for walk-ins. Same Day Orders, as in "Hey, I'm leaving NY and I'll be there in two hours," simply does not give us enough lead time to guarantee a variety at a particular time. Please give us a day's notice or else it's first come, first serve.
Q: Would you bake pies for our wedding?
A: YES! We have done pies for many weddings in the past. Call for details. Generally we need at least a two-week notice for large orders.
Q: Do you accept Credit or Debit Cards, Venmo, PayPal?
A: No. We only accept cash or check. We do have an on-site ATM
